Since childhood, crystals have always fascinated me. Now, in later life, I am very much into holistic healing approaches and in particular, the amazing properties that these beautiful stones posess. Here are a few of the wonderful healing stones that I have in my collection and practise with...
<< The amazing Lodestone, Bourton on the Water. I felt my life was finally complete when I was introduced this place! This is, easily, my most favourite crystal shop in the whole world, run by this excellent South African guy (in photo) who has imparted so much knowledge to me over the years. Each journey to Bourton is like a Pilgrimage to me!

For many years, I've been fascinated with the stories and myths surrounding the Crystal Skulls. 13 ancient Quartz Skulls that will come together in 2012 to empart wisdom to man that will rescue our planet and help deliver us to a new plain of consciouness. To date, each 'ancient' skull uncovered, has been proved to be a 'fake' and skillfully crafted from modern tools. My belief in crystal healing stretches to the belief in the power of Crystal skulls and being a 'modern' or 'contemporary' skull doesn't, in any way, diminish their power.
I am the proud caretaker of a family of 'modern' skulls. Each carrying the unique healing qualities of the crystal from which they were sculpted as well as their own individual personalities and traits. They are a joy to work with. Please, Meet the Family!......

* A few of my family have names - the more you work and connect with a skull, the more likely it is to impart that name to you. Some have come quickly - My Rhodochrosite skull, Sally, was so excited that she blurted out her name the fist time we met. Lucerne, a clear quartz skull that I picked up in a market in Spain, happily told me his name whilst I was cleansing him in The Mediterranean Sea, just days after we came together. My flourite skull, Selim (top left) took years however. Selim was my first skull and we came together at a time of sadness in my life. I knew very little about the skulls back then and certainly wasn't looking to caretake one. Over the years, we built up a bond and, one evening, Selim decided I was ready to know his name - For years I called him 'Mr Boney' - I guess he got to the point where he was just so pissed off with that name that it was time to put the record straight - I was reading a book one evening, with 'Mr Boney' sat on the pillow next to me (coincidentally, a book on Crysal Skulls) and the name 'Selim' appeared on the page. It made perfect sense when I then turned to my flourite Skull. Later, whan I went back to the book, the name had dissapeared from the page - I was sure then, that it was the skull getting my atention and letting me know after these years.

Last 2 on the left- wonderful examples of: 'If you are destined to be the skull's caretaker, it will wait for you". I welcomed both of the skulls, left, into my family in April 2011 but it wasn't the first time that we had met......
The Ruby in Zoisite skull (centre) first caught my attention last September, whilst on my first trip to Glastonbury. I fell in love with him straight away but, after several other purchases, had totally maxed out on my 'skull limit' and had no choice but to walk away from him. Knowing that i was returning to Glastonbury the following April, he was all i could think about and, low and behold, he was still there waiting for me on my return 7 months later.
The story behind my Purple Flower Flourite skull (last on the left) is a little more unique...
Almost a year to the day that we met again, I had walked away from him, for the same reasons as above. I had never dreamt, in a million years, that we would meet again. He had originally been on sale in a branch of 'Crystals' in Strattford Upon Avon. I have a friend up there, and, on many occasions, had thought about sending him the money at a later date so he could go back to the shop and buy him for me but I never got myself organised. Imagine my absolute delight, when, a year later, i'm in Cardiff and chance upon the local branch of 'Crystals' to find my baby sitting in the window! Turns out that he hadn't attracted any attention in Strattford and was returned to head office where he was re-dispatched to Cardiff. We were truly meant to be together!
